American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Care Float Pool ICU position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and proficiency with Epic across a variety of critical care units on night shifts.

- Position is part of a Critical Care Float Pool, with nurses floating across multiple ICU units based on staffing needs and patient acuity \n
- Float units include: Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, MICU, and NCCU \n
- Floating is required within units of equivalent or lower acuity \n
- Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:30) \n
- Epic EMR proficiency is required \n
- IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and ventilator management are performed in this role \n

- Active OH or Compact RN license required \n
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required \n
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required \n
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required \n
- Experience with IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management required \n
- Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred \n
- 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the 2nd reference; no coworker references accepted \n

- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate — no radius restriction applies \n
- Former employees of this facility are eligible for a travel assignment after a minimum 6-month separation \n
- Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with your profile and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract period \n
- All candidates must complete Ohio state fingerprinting promptly upon signing their contract — candidates outside Ohio must travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or complete a mailed packet as soon as possible \n
