**Join Our Dynamic Team as an Acute Care Physical Therapist!** **Job Description:** - **Position Type:** Acute Care Physical Therapist (PT) - **Work Shift:** Day 3x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:00) - **Floating Requirements:** Yes, between units as per needs - **On-call Requirements:** No - **Weekend Requirements:** No - **Block Schedules:** No - **Patient Ratios:** 1:5-10 **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality inpatient therapy to patients in an acute care setting - Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members for holistic patient care - Administer assessments and develop personalized home exercise programs - Educate patients and families on recovery processes and techniques **Qualifications:** - **Experience:** Minimum 1 year in acute care settings - **Certifications:** - BLS (preferred) - **Skills:** - Knowledge of body mechanics, orthopedics, and various neurological conditions - Experience with post-operative recovery for cervical and shoulder surgeries - Competence in treating conditions such as cervicalgia, low back pain, hip/knee replacements, and spinal disorders **Work Environment:** - Setting: Critical Access Facility - Total Staff Beds: 23 - Charting System: Epic **Special Requirements:** - Position generally operates at 0.6 FTE, Monday - Friday with flexibility for other combinations - Primary focus will be on inpatient therapy, with potential to float to nearby facilities based on demand **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
