American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a night shift travel contract in Rockford, IL, requiring active IL licensure and TNCC or TNS certification.

- Emergency Room (ER) department in a hospital setting \n
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM \n
- Weekend and holiday rotation required \n
- 13-week contract \n

- Active Illinois (IL) RN license required \n
- Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required \n
- Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS \n
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; education verification will be required for consideration \n

- Responsibilities include patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care using the nursing process \n
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to develop and execute individualized patient care plans \n
- Administers medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, standards of care, and state practice acts \n
- Participates in department performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance and peer review \n
- Applies critical thinking to patient safety and experience, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command \n
