Medlivo is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in The Woodlands, Texas.

Minimum 3+ years recent RN experience in Labor & Delivery required / CERTIFICATIONS – BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN) Required / LICENSE – Active RN License Required / Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hrs/week, 13 weeks (7p–7a, every other weekend) / Setting: Acute Care – Labor & Delivery / EMR: EPIC / Skills: Labor management, fetal monitoring, high-risk obstetric care, vaginal deliveries, circulating C-sections, newborn stabilization, maternal assessment, IV therapy, and independent interpretation of fetal monitoring strips required / Unit Details: 12 L&D beds, 2 C-section OR suites, 4 triage beds, and 16 postpartum beds; approximately 160–200 deliveries per month / Ratios: Follows AWHONN staffing guidelines / Common Patient Population: Laboring mothers, high-risk OB patients, scheduled and emergency C-sections, postpartum patients, and newborns / Drips: Labor and obstetric medication administration as required / RT Equipment: Ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and respiratory support equipment available / Charge Nurse: Dedicated charge nurse without patient assignment / OB/Neonatology Coverage: OB providers, Neonatologists, and Anesthesia available in-house 24/7 / Monitoring: No monitor techs; RNs are responsible for reading and interpreting fetal monitoring strips using WatchChild monitoring system / Scheduling: Modified self-scheduling available / Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend / Holiday Requirement: Required based on unit needs / Floating: May float to Mother/Baby unit as needed (rare occurrence) / Call Requirement: None / Orientation: Unit-specific orientation provided / Scrubs: Royal Blue / Additional: Facility is not an LDRP unit; candidates must be comfortable circulating their own C-sections, managing labor patients independently, and providing care in a high-volume Labor & Delivery environment.
