American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedics position requiring a valid NC or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

- Inpatient hospital setting, Med/Surg Orthopedics unit \n
- Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week) \n
- Every other weekend required \n
- Rotating holiday coverage required \n
- 13-week contract \n
- \n
- Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact state required prior to start of clinical care \n
- Current BLS certification required \n
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required \n
- Acute care / inpatient hospital experience preferred \n
- \n
- Accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director for coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process \n
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary care teams to identify and pursue expected patient outcomes \n
- Assesses and anticipates discharge needs, communicating and updating plans of care with patients and families using cultural competency \n
- Fosters intra- and interdepartmental communication within a clinical operations environment \n
- ACLS certification may be required on some units prior to performing clinical care; training and certification opportunities will be provided \n
- Annual competency assessments are required per the documented competency checklist \n
