Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position in California, requiring a valid CA RN license and experience across a broad range of surgical services.

• Work in the PACU/Pre-op unit of a hospital setting
\n
• Surgical services include orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, podiatry, pain management, ophthalmology, and endoscopy
\n
• Schedule is four 10-hour day shifts (Mon–Thu, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM)
\n
• On-call responsibilities are required
\n
• 13-week contract
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active CA RN license required
\n
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA or ARC only)
\n
• Minimum 2 years of PACU/pre-op RN experience required
\n
• Two supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
\n
• 7-year work history verification required
\n

• Provide direct patient care in pre-op and PACU settings across a variety of surgical specialties
\n
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible to apply
\n
• Former employees or travelers may return without a separation period; former manager's name will be required on the application
\n
• RTO is limited to 7 days per contract; only one holiday may be requested off per contract
\n
• Holiday coverage may be required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day (holidays begin at 7:00 PM the night before and end at 7:00 AM the day after)
\n
• Online onboarding modules (averaging 1–5 hours) are completed during orientation
\n
