Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg Tele position at a Level IV trauma hospital in Missoula, MT, requiring at least 1 year of experience and AHA-certified BLS and ACLS.

• 31-bed Acute Care unit in a Level IV trauma hospital setting
\n
• Adult and geriatric patient population with common diagnoses including small bowel obstructions, diabetic complications, wound care, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, and sepsis
\n
• Patient ratio of 1:6
\n
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
\n
• Every third weekend required
\n
• No on-call requirements
\n
• Floating required as appropriate to experience
\n
• Charting performed in Cerner EMR
\n
• 13-week contract
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active MT RN license or Compact RN license required
\n
• Current AHA-certified BLS and ACLS required
\n
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
\n
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Associate's degree or higher required
\n
• Proficiency in NG tube placement and management, Foley placement and management, and chest tube maintenance required
\n
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
\n

Additional Information\n

• Cerner EMR experience preferred
\n
• NIHSS certification preferred
\n
• Strong communication skills and adaptability are valued on this unit
\n
• Scrubs required in any solid, non-fluorescent color
\n
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
\n
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
\n
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
