Job Opportunity – Electrophysiology Technologist – West Virginia

Location: Charleston, West Virginia

Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM. NO call, NO weekends, NO holidays. 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Highlights:

• Daily caseload of 8-10 EP procedures including pacemaker/defibrillator implants, ablations, PVI, and structural heart procedures
\n
• Work in a Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital with 838 staffed beds
\n
• Cerner charting system with equipment including BARD, Carto, ESI, and PFA technologies
\n
• Structured schedule with consistent Monday-Friday day shifts and no on-call requirements
\n
• Free parking provided for traveling professionals
\n
• Orientation held every other Thursday with non-billable modules completed prior to start
\n

\n

Requirements:

\n

\n
• Active West Virginia state license or eligible for Compact licensure (must be active by start date)
\n
• ARRT (R) Registration required - RCIS certification not accepted in West Virginia for Cath Lab work
\n
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through American Heart Association
\n
• Minimum 1 year of Electrophysiology experience required - must be competent in all aspects of EP procedures
\n
• Experience with cardiac ablation, mapping systems (Carto, ESI), structural heart procedures (LAAO), pacemaker/defibrillator implants, and arrhythmia management
\n
• Proficiency in both scrub and circulating roles within sterile EP environment
\n
• First-time travelers not accepted - previous travel or related experience required
\n
• Two professional references from managers or charge nurses within the past 2 years
\n
• Permanent address must be 100+ miles from the facility (75-99 miles considered case-by-case)
\n
