\nJob Description:
\nTravel ER RN expected to handle a diverse range of patients across all ESI levels in a small ED with high acuity. Must be able to manage patient ratios efficiently, perform necessary clinical skills, and work within a team environment. Night and weekend shifts require specific responsibilities including patient transport and psych patient placement calls. Familiarity with EDIS Medhost and willingness to float within departments required.
\nResponsibilities:

- Handle patients from ESI level 1-5 with typical 4-5:1 patient ratio. \n
- Manage stroke, STEMI, trauma, and sepsis cases. \n
- Perform triage, rapid assessments, PIV, NG/OG tube insertion, foley catheters, splinting, and wound care. \n
- Assist with art line, central line, and chest tube placements. \n
- Assist with medication drip mixing and complete EMTALA paperwork as per guidelines. \n
- Float to other departments as necessary and participate in precepting duties. \n
Requirements:
\n- \n
- At least 2 years of ED RN experience and 1 year of travel nurse experience. \n
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications required. \n
- Proficiency in triage, PIV, foley, NG/OG, and port access skills. \n
- Experience with US guided IV preferred but not required. \n
- Willingness to float and work collaboratively within a team. \n
