American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long-Term Care (LTC) position at a state/government-run skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Vestal, NY, requiring a valid NY RN license and at least 1 year of relevant experience.

- Long-term care setting within a 300-bed state/government-run facility offering skilled nursing, rehabilitation therapies, memory care, and wound care \n
- Patient population includes residents with Alzheimer's and dementia \n
- Patient ratio of 1:18–20 \n
- Night shift, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week (22:45–07:15) \n
- 40 hours per week \n
- Every other weekend required \n
- Charting via Point Click Care (PCC); prior experience not required \n
- Local candidates are welcome to apply \n

- Active NY State RN license required; no license violations permitted \n
- Current BLS certification required \n
- Minimum 1 year of LTC experience required; candidates with recent rehab, med/surg, or hospital experience will also be considered \n
- Must be able to pass a medication administration (med pass) test and clinical observation \n
- Proof of NY RN license required for consideration \n
- Strong attendance, punctuality, and dependability required \n

- Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, performing medication passes, monitoring and documenting changes in resident condition, and supervising CNAs on assigned units \n
- Any shift change requests are not permitted once an offer has been accepted \n
- All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration and will not be approved after an offer is made; candidates cannot request every holiday off \n
- Call-outs must be reported with more than 24 hours of advance notice \n
- Compliance process takes approximately 1.5–2 weeks \n
- Relias training modules must be completed no later than 3 days prior to the assignment start date; module access is sent via email within 48 hours of offer acceptance \n
- Start dates follow a bi-weekly orientation schedule \n
- Scrubs may be any solid color; closed-toe shoes required \n
- Parking is free on-site \n
