American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care facility in Santa Rosa, CA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and Epic proficiency.

  • Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care facility in Santa Rosa, CA
  • \n
  • 26-bed ED with an average of 120 patient visits
  • \n
  • Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts, with a 7:00 or 9:00 AM start time
  • \n
  • Weekends required on an as-needed basis
  • \n
  • Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state of California
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Active CA RN license required; pending CA license accepted
  • \n
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
  • \n
  • Hospital-based ED experience required (no grossing-only experience)
  • \n
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • \n
  • Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
  • \n
  • Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • \n
Additional Information\n

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply, provided they have ED experience
  • \n
  • RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the assignment
  • \n
  • Former permanent staff at a Providence facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
  • \n
  • Scrubs or business casual attire is acceptable
  • \n
  • Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
  • \n
