Description
\nPrioritizes and performs a wide variety of clinical laboratory tests on various biological specimens. Reviews, evaluates, documents and reports results. Preserves confidentiality of patients and follows lab safety and maintenance protocols. Trains and supervises trainees, laboratory assistants and clerks as needed.

Requirements
\nDay Shift 0500 - 1730; 3 x 12s; Weekend Shift - Sat, Sun, and Monday. CA license, phlebotomy experience NOT required; 5 plus years of experience including Microbiology, Blood Bank, as well as Core Lab (Hermatolgy, Coagulation, Chemistry, Urinalysis. must be able and confident to work independently. This CLS is primary CLS on Sat and Sunday. No call. EPIC experience required.

Education and Work Experience:

- Bachelor?s Degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, biological sciences, chemical sciences or allied health technologies or equivalent: Required \n
- Clinical laboratory experience: Preferred \n
Licenses/Certifications:
\n- \n
- Valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license in state of employment: Required in CA \n
- Current certification from American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or National Credentialing Agency for Labs (NCA): Preferred \n
