American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for a 13-week night shift assignment in Temple, TX, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience at Level I Trauma and Level IV NICU facilities.

- Hospital-based imaging/ultrasound department serving ambulatory and inpatient populations, including newborn, pediatric, young adult, adult, and geriatric patients \n
- Experience with Level I Trauma and Level IV NICU patient populations required \n
- Schedule is 4x10-hour night shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM \n
- On-call may be required based on department needs \n
- \n
- Minimum of 3 years of ultrasound/sonography experience \n
- BLS certification required (AHA only) \n
- ARDMS (RDMS-AB) or RVT certification required \n
- ARRT-S certification required \n
- Active TX license required if applicable \n
- 2 professional references required for consideration \n
- DOB and SSN required for consideration \n
- Flu vaccination is mandatory; no exemptions accepted \n
- \n
- Performs high-quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with established exam protocols, including invasive multimodality procedures using proper sterile technique \n
- Responsible for patient identification, positioning, equipment setup, and adjusting exposure controls \n
- Documents and maintains medical imaging records in PACS, EMR, image exchange systems, and modality worklist in compliance with department policies \n
- Expected to adhere to infection control, safety, hand hygiene, and radiation protection protocols \n
- May serve as a trainer for new team members and on new services or initiatives \n
- Any solid color scrubs required; no prints \n
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local travelers are not accepted \n
