Job Description

• High School Diploma or GED
• 32 College Credits OR Paraprofessional Praxis
  • Praxis may be completed on-site after hire
• Experience working with or around children
• Must be patient and supportive

This position follows the district’s four‑day school week, working 6 hours per day, and begins on the first day of school. Two training days will be held the week prior. Pay is based on the Classified Salary Schedule, Column B ($17.12–$21.38 DOE).

Part time employees are eligible for  health, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits. The district covers 50% of the employee health insurance premium on the driver plan and 35% of toward this plan for dependent coverage. Additional benefits include sick and personal leave in accordance with Board Policy and Idaho Code (Sick Leave). Employees working 20+ hours per week participate in the Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI), with full retirement available when the employee’s age and years of Idaho service total 90 or at age 65.
