Barista

Valo Coffee is hiring a dependable, warm, and hardworking barista for a fast-paced, physically active coffee-shop position.

Previous barista experience is welcome but not required. We provide paid training and hire primarily for reliability, pace, coachability, attention to detail, and kindness.

This is not a position where you only make drinks. Every Valo barista:

• Welcomes and serves customers
• Prepares drinks precisely according to Valo recipes and quality standards
• Cleans equipment and work areas
• Washes dishes
• Stocks ingredients and supplies
• Carries boxes and takes out trash
• Participates in sensory quality control
• Helps the team maintain a calm, organized environment during busy periods

We are unusually serious about coffee quality and unusually warm with people. Baristas must be willing to follow established recipes, procedures and management decisions consistently.

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 16 years or older
• Available to work: weekends
