Post-Operative Registered Nurse (RN)
This position requires a dynamic and highly motivated individual who has successfully completed a Registered Nurse (RN) program at an accredited school of nursing and maintains a current, active nursing license. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center setting. While ambulatory surgery experience is preferred, we are willing to provide training for a candidate who demonstrates strong clinical aptitude and a commitment to excellence.
This would be a part-time position, 3-4 days a week. We have Pain Management every other Monday and then general surgeries Wednesday thru Friday (no weekends, Holidays or Call).
Key Responsibilities
Pain Management:
Occurs every other Monday - (in conjunction with Holistic Pain Management) non-opioid pain management program and patient care.
Patient Advocacy:
Act as a strong advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met throughout the perioperative experience. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
Operational Support:
Support the daily operations of the PACU, including patient flow coordination, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote efficiency and high-quality care delivery.
Leadership & Nurse Manager Support:
Collaborate with the CNO and OR Director in maintaining departmental standards, workflows, and staff support. Serve as a resource for team members and help foster a positive and professional work environment.
