This is an important role that requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional healthcare.Position Responsibilities:Timely communication to physicians, families, etc. of significant changes in resident conditionComplete all applicable resident assessmentsComplete medication administration while following the 5 RightsPerform wound care and assessments as neededAssist CNAs with answering call lightsMonitor residents for changes in conditionAct as leader on the floor by assessing and directing situations as neededReport any allegations of abuse, neglect or misappropriation to Director of Nursing and AdministratorMaintain accurate resident records with thorough and accurate chartingPerform other duties as requested.Position Requirements:Two-year degree in nursing required. Four-year degree in nursing preferred.Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.Current CPR/BLS certification required.1+ years of related work experience preferred.Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesIntermediate proficiency with computers is requiredComprehensive nursing skills and knowledge of equipment such as retinal scanners, EKG, etc.Thorough understanding of triage.Understanding of lab procedures and equipment.Strong quantitative and analytical competency.Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to have continuous oral and written communication with co-workers, patients, and supervisors is essential.LOCATION DESCRIPTIONWith a population of 1,800, New Lisbon, "The Friendly City", provides a small town feel while being surrounded by unique recreational and cultural experiences.
