Director of Nursing - Ambulatory Surgery

State-of-the art Ambulatory Surgery Center seeks a Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing and clinical operations within the surgery center
• Manage and mentor clinical staff, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, performance management, and professional development
• Collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia providers, and executive leadership to optimize patient care and operational workflows
• Oversee clinical quality initiatives, patient safety programs, and risk management processes
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for perioperative services
• Monitor staffing levels, productivity, and departmental budgets
• Lead quality assurance and performance improvement activities
• Maintain readiness for accreditation and regulatory surveys
• Foster a positive, patient-focused culture centered on teamwork and accountability

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey
• Minimum 2 years of nursing leadership experience within an OR, ASC, and/or PACU environment

Salary and Benefit Information

• $140,000 - $160,000 + 10% annual bonus
• Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement, and PTO
