Job Description
13-Week Travel Contract
Assignment: June 1, 2026 to September 5, 2026
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Contract Length: 13 weeks
On-Call Requirement: Every third weekend
Setting: PACU / Surgical Services
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
Monitor patient vital signs, airway status, and overall recovery from anesthesia
Identify complications and intervene appropriately using clinical judgment
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary care teams
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and recovery expectations
Document patient care accurately and in accordance with facility policies
Assist with discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 3 years of PACU or acute care experience
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
PALS certification required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
