RN - Critical Care

Position: RN – Critical Care (Contract-to-Perm)

• Location: NY 14456

• Contract Length: 05/11/2026 – 08/15/2026 (~14 weeks)

• Pay: $2,159 – $2,421/week

• Schedule: Full-time, 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

• Requirements: Every other weekend (EOW), holidays required, plus 2 on-call shifts per 4-week period

• Float Requirement: Must float between Med/Surg, ICU, and ED at multiple locations (GGH & SSMH)

• Provide critical care nursing across ICU, ED, and Med/Surg units

• Assess, monitor, and manage patients across all age groups

• Administer treatments, respond to emergencies, and support care plans

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across multiple units/facilities

• Maintain compliance with safety, documentation, and care standards

• Active NY RN License (required)

• BSN required

• Certifications required (AHA or RQI only): BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS

• Minimum 1 year experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Critical Care

• Must be comfortable floating between ICU, ER, and Med/Surg units

• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain professionalism

• Basic Coronary Care (within 6 months) & CPI (within 90 days) required after hire

• Preferred: TNCC/ENA certification, EMR and Microsoft Office experience
