Our client, a healthcare and senior living provider, is seeking an experienced Cook to join their team. As a Cook, you will be part of the culinary support staff supporting senior residents' nutritional needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate dedication, attention to detail, and a passion for preparing nutritious meals, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cook

Location: Gadsden, AL

Pay Range: $18.00 per hour

Shift: Starting at 5:00 am with flexibility for schedules

What's the Job?

• Prepare nutritious, flavorful, and well-balanced meals following established menus
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation, and storage standards
• Follow dietary guidelines to prepare therapeutic diets for residents
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality food service

What's Needed?

• Experience as a cook or in a related food preparation role
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
• Ability to acquire food safety certification
• Basic math and counting skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
