About the Position

Our client is seeking a CDL B Delivery Driver to support local delivery operations in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. This long-term flexible position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, home-daily routes, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $25.00 per hour
• Overtime: Overtime pay after 40 hours
• Estimated weekly pay: $1,400-$1,500
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Hours per week: 40
• Weekends: No weekends
• Start date: August 24, 2026

Job Details

• Route type: Local delivery with home-daily routes
• Freight: Food and restaurant supplies
• Equipment: Automatic and manual transmission box trucks
• Handling: Heavy-touch delivery requiring loading and unloading of restaurant supplies and food items
• Warehouse training is provided to familiarize drivers with the products

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment on local routes
• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and safety standards
• Load and unload restaurant supplies and food items
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Meet the physical demands of the position

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class B commercial driver’s license
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Ability to perform heavy-touch delivery work, including loading and unloading
