Assistant Property Manager

The Assistant Property Manager plays a vital role in supporting the Property Manager and ensuring the smooth operation of residential properties. Working within a medium-sized team, this position focuses on tenant relations, lease administration, and coordinating property maintenance to maintain high standards of living and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage tenant relations and provide excellent customer service
• Support leasing activities, including tenant screening and lease preparation
• Coordinate timely rent collection and follow-up on payment issues
• Generate and assist with financial reporting related to property operations
• Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure property maintenance and repairs
• Administer lease agreements and maintain accurate documentation
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance and upkeep
• Resolve tenant complaints and conflicts efficiently and professionally

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in property management
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient with property management software
• Strong skills in tenant relations and facility management
• Experience in leasing and financial reporting
• Excellent conflict resolution and communication abilities
• Strong organizational skills

This position requires weekend availability to work.
