Material Handler

Location: Altoona, IA

Pay: $18.00 per hour paid weekly

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, or 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (shift assigned based on warehouse location)

Employment Type: Contract to Full-Time (US Citizens or Authorized Workers Only.)

We are currently hiring dependable, motivated individuals to join a growing warehouse team in Altoona. We have multiple full-time openings available across multiple warehouse locations. These roles are essential to maintaining efficient operations during non-peak hours, ensuring inventory is properly handled, orders are accurately fulfilled, and the warehouse remains organized and safe. Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down forklifts
• Load and unload trailers
• Replenish inventory and transport product
• Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory
• Load outbound shipments

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Must be dependable and punctual. Good attendance is a must.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check (employer cannot hire candidates with a felony in the last 7 years)
• 2+ years of forklift experience is required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended period

Working Conditions

This position involves working in a warehouse environment with regular standing, walking, and heavy lifting. Employees may be exposed to varying temperatures, warehouse equipment, and moderate noise levels. Safety procedures and company policies must be followed at all times.
