ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Care

Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
Compensation: $35–$50/hour based on experience
Shift Differentials:

  • Weeknights: +$3.50/hour
  • Weekends: +$5.00/hour

Retention Bonus: Up to $8,000 (paid in installments over 24 months)
Relocation assistance available

A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join their Critical Care team. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys providing high-acuity care with a high level of autonomy and clinical responsibility.

The ICU RN will provide care for critically ill medical and post-surgical patients while working closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support safe, effective patient outcomes. This role is ideal for a nurse who values teamwork, critical thinking, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a close-knit hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients throughout their ICU stay
  • Monitor patient conditions and recognize changes requiring intervention
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs
  • Administer medications and evaluate patient responses
  • Respond to emergencies and collaborate with physicians and care teams
  • Prioritize care for complex and evolving patient conditions
  • Educate patients, families, and peers regarding care and treatment plans
  • Delegate appropriately and support team collaboration
  • Maintain compliance with clinical standards, policies, and best practices
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse license
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Previous ICU/Critical Care experience strongly preferred
  • Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills

Required Certifications:

  • BLS
  • ACLS
