Job Title: MIG Welder
Location: Brooklyn Park, MN
Pay Range: $35.00 – $38.00/hour (based on experience) Shift Options:
- First Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Second Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

- Perform high-volume MIG welding on structural components
- Layout, fit-up, and weld parts to tight tolerances and specifications
- Read and interpret fabrication blueprints and weld symbols
- Complete welds that meet AWS standards, including visual and X-ray inspection requirements
- Use fabrication tools such as grinders, torches, and gouging equipment
- Safely operate overhead cranes, jib cranes, and hoists
- Maintain a consistent workflow in a production-driven environment
- Proven MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or production setting
- Ability to read and work from blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with fillet and groove welds, including multi-pass welds
- Experience with fabrication tools and general shop equipment
- Experience working with aluminum and/or stainless steel preferred
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
- Ability to pass the COPA assessment
- Ability to pass an AWS weld test (Fillet and V-Groove, X-ray evaluated)
Work Environment
This is a hands-on production role that includes standing for extended periods on concrete floors, working in varying temperatures and industrial conditions, exposure to welding fumes and elevated noise levels, frequent lifting up to 35 lbs., and working in multiple positions throughout the shift. PPE is required at all times in a safety-focused environment.
