Field Service Technician (DIRECT HIRE) - Travel - Up to $100K Annually - Now Hiring

Our client, a leader in the food processing machinery industry supporting the RTE/Meat/Poultry/Fish sectors, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join their team. As a vital member of the service support team, you will play a key role in ensuring the optimal operation of industrial food processing equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, aligning successfully with the organization’s commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.  This is a direct hire opportunity with benefits.

Job Title: Field Service Technician
Location: Throop, PA 18512
Pay Range: $30.46 in the field, $45 in the plant and $90 on weekends.  With overtime, travel, and plant/weekend shifts, technicians are potentially earning up to $100K annually.
Shift:  Shift and days may vary in a 8am-10pm window

What's the Job?

• Installation, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial food processing equipment
• Operator, maintenance, sanitation, and personnel training both in-house and at customer facilities
• Conducting in-house and in-field demonstrations of equipment
• Providing customer phone and email support, including PLC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting
• Pre-delivery equipment setup, rebuilding, repair, and preventative maintenance of customer machines

What's Needed?

• Associates degree, technical training, or relevant hands-on experience in electronics or mechanical systems
• Experience with AC/DC drives, inverters, PLCs, and electro-mechanical systems
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical drive systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with willingness to travel extensively across the United States and Canada, including weekends
