About the Position

Our client is seeking an experienced CDL A Driver for a temp-to-perm position delivering hardware supplies throughout the Northeast. This local driving role offers consistent weekday work, competitive pay, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay rate: $346.15 per day, approximately $90,000 annually
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Hours per week: 40
• Start time: Between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.
• Employment type: Temp to perm
• Start date: July 7, 2026
• Sign-on bonus: $5,000

Job Details

• Equipment: Automatic Freightliner with a 20- to 53-foot trailer
• Handling: Driver unload
• Stops: 8 to 10 stops per day
• Delivery areas: Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine
• Hazmat endorsement required
• Training location: Rome, New York

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL A tractor-trailer on local delivery routes
• Deliver hardware supplies to customers across the assigned service area
• Unload freight at delivery locations
• Complete approximately 8 to 10 stops per day
• Follow all applicable safety, DOT, and FMCSA regulations
• Maintain a professional and service-focused relationship with customers

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Hazmat endorsement
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
