Forklift Operator

Job Description

•Operate forklifts safely to move, load, unload, and stack materials throughout the warehouse or worksite.

•Lift and transport heavy items, pallets, and equipment weighing up to company and equipment limits.

•Load and unload trucks while ensuring products are handled safely and without damage.

•Organize inventory in designated storage areas and maintain accurate stock placement.

•Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report maintenance or safety issues.

•Follow OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and warehouse procedures.

•Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory control as needed.

•Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.

•Work independently and as part of a team to meet production and shipping deadlines.

•Position requires working 45–60 hours per week, including every Saturday, with overtime as needed to meet operational demands.

Qualifications:

•Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.

•Forklift certification preferred or required, depending on employer.

•Ability to lift up to 50–100 pounds (or as required by the employer) and move heavy materials using powered equipment.

•Strong attention to safety and detail.

•Ability to work extended hours and overtime in a fast-paced environment.
