Forklift Operator – Shipping & Receiving
Location: Webster, TX 77598
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator – Shipping & Receiving to join a busy warehouse team in Webster, TX. This position is responsible for safely operating forklifts, receiving inbound shipments, preparing outbound orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of forklift and shipping/receiving experience and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, move, and stage materials
- Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while following safety procedures
- Maintain accurate inventory and complete shipping/receiving documentation
- Organize warehouse materials and keep work areas clean and orderly
- Perform routine forklift inspections and report equipment issues
- Work closely with warehouse team members to meet daily production goals
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of forklift operating experience required
- At least 2 years of shipping and receiving experience
- Ability to safely load, unload, and transport materials
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory documentation preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the shift
- Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety
