Required Certifications
- ARRT (R) Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Venipuncture Certification
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Operate radiologic equipment safely and effectively.
- Utilize venipuncture skills as required for imaging procedures.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare team members to provide quality patient care.
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control standards.
- Float to similar imaging areas as needed.
