Are you the person everyone calls when a machine goes down?
We're looking for an experienced CNC Maintenance Technician who enjoys troubleshooting, fixing complex equipment, and keeping a precision manufacturing operation running. You'll work hands-on with CNC machining centers, lathes, mills, grinders, robotics, conveyors, pumps, and other automated production equipment.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced industrial maintenance, electro-mechanical, CNC, or machine tool technician who wants a stable, long-term role where their technical skills make a direct impact every day.
What You'll Earn & When You'll Work$36–$40/hour, based on experience
+$2/hour 2nd-shift differential
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM–1:00 AM
Alternating 4-day schedule:
Week 1: Monday–Thursday
Week 2: Tuesday–Friday
Predictable schedule with a 3-day weekend every other week
You'll be responsible for keeping our production equipment safe, reliable, and running efficiently.
Your day-to-day work will include:
Troubleshooting and repairing CNC machines, machining centers, lathes, mills, grinders, robotics, conveyors, pumps, and automated equipment
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems and determining the root cause of equipment failures
Working with motors, sensors, bearings, belts, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, lubrication systems, coolant systems, and machine controls
Performing preventive maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime
Responding to equipment breakdowns and getting production safely back up and running
Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams, and equipment manuals
Troubleshooting CNC controls, PLCs, servo systems, and automated equipment when applicable
Supporting machine installations, moves, alignments, upgrades, and improvement projects
Documenting repairs, parts, maintenance activities, and equipment history through maintenance/work-order systems
Identifying equipment wear and potential failures before they become production problems
Working closely with production, engineering, quality, and maintenance leadership to improve equipment reliability
Following all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
We're looking for someone who can think through a problem, get their hands dirty, and safely get equipment back into service.
Required:
High school diploma/GED or equivalent hands-on technical experience
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial/manufacturing equipment
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Ability to diagnose equipment using schematics, manuals, meters, and other diagnostic tools
Experience with some combination of motors, sensors, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, bearings, belts, or machine controls
Ability to work independently and respond effectively to equipment breakdowns
Willingness and ability to work the posted 2nd-shift schedule
Commitment to safe work practices, including LOTO
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
CNC mills, lathes, machining centers, or grinders
Fanuc controls
PLC troubleshooting
Servo motors/drives
Robotics and automated manufacturing equipment
CMMS or electronic maintenance/work-order systems
Preventive maintenance programs
Root-cause analysis
Lean Manufacturing or 5S
Machine installation, alignment, or relocation
This isn't a position where you'll spend your night doing the same maintenance task over and over.
You'll work on a wide range of precision manufacturing equipment, solve different technical problems, and have a direct impact on uptime, productivity, and equipment reliability.
If you enjoy figuring out **why a machine isn't working—not just replacing the part that failed—**you'll have plenty of opportunities to use your skills here.
Think You Could Be a Fit?If your background is in CNC maintenance, industrial maintenance, electro-mechanical systems, machine tools, automation, or manufacturing equipment, we'd like to hear from you.
You don't need to have experience with every technology listed above. If you have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and experience working around CNC or automated manufacturing equipment, we encourage you to apply.
