Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:15 PM–11:00 PM

About the Company

Our client is a manufacturing company in Huntington Beach specializing in precision finishing and PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) vacuum coating of metal parts and products. The company works with customer products that require specialized coating and finishing processes.

This is a hands-on manufacturing environment where quality, attention to detail, safety, and careful handling of customer products are very important.

About the Position

We are looking for a Precision Racker to support the finishing and PVD coating process. In this role, you will prepare metal parts by placing them on racks or baskets, load and unload products from PVD coating machines, inspect parts, and make sure products are properly positioned for processing.

This is a physical, hands-on production position that requires good attention to detail, mechanical ability, and the ability to follow specific instructions.

What You Will Do

• Prepare parts for the finishing process by placing them on racks or baskets.

• Rack and un-rack products in the correct locations.

• Bend pins and wires as needed to securely hold parts in place.

• Select the appropriate rack based on the product's size, shape, and quantity.

• Load and unload products from PVD vacuum coating machines.

• Learn and use proper fixturing techniques to prepare products for PVD processing.

• Carefully handle and fixture products to prevent damage.

• Visually inspect parts for quality and proper finish.

• Handle customer products and tools with care.

• Maintain accurate identification and traceability of customer products.

• Complete required paperwork, tags, and production documentation.

• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.

• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.

• Report any discrepancies or quality issues to the supervisor.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Hands-on experience with mechanical or computer-controlled machinery preferred.

• 2+ years of manufacturing or machine-shop experience preferred.

• Previous experience in vacuum coating or a related manufacturing environment is a plus.

• PVD coating or plating experience is highly desirable.
