Location: Sullivan, NY (Open to New Graduates)
Job Type: Part-Time -5 hours per day, 4 days per week (Monday-Friday)
Flexible daytime hours
No evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join a Youth Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including assessments, diagnosis, medication management, psychopharmacology, and treatment planning for children and adolescents ages 10-21. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, support families, and provide education and training on psychiatric conditions and medication management.
Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
Diagnose and treat children and adolescents (ages 10-21) using DSM guidelines.
Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications.
Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and community providers.
Educate patients, families, and staff on psychiatric conditions and medications.
Participate in clinical team meetings and treatment planning.
Complete documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
Ensure compliance with New York State regulations and professional standards.
Education, Licensure & Experience
Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with Psychiatric/Mental Health specialization.
Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
Active New York Nurse Practitioner license.
Active DEA License.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
Experience prescribing psychotropic medications to children and adolescents.
Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology.
Experience using electronic health records (EHR).
Valid driver's license with insurable driving record.
