Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A temporary opportunity is available for a Relief Hospital Pharmacist to provide PRN coverage at a small critical care hospital located in Grantsburg, WI. This role offers flexible, per diem scheduling with coverage needed on July 31, August 12–17, and August 26–31. Exact hours will be confirmed by the client.
Key responsibilities include verifying prescriptions and medication orders, reviewing physician orders for accuracy and appropriateness, responding to medication-related inquiries from nursing staff and physicians, and supporting daily inpatient pharmacy operations. The pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring medications are dispensed safely and accurately within a small hospital environment.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Active Wisconsin Pharmacist license required
- Previous inpatient hospital or critical care pharmacy experience preferred
