Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Gouverneur, NY

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This per diem opportunity is designed for a licensed pharmacist ready to provide expert pharmaceutical care on a flexible schedule in Woodstock, NY. You will play an essential role in verifying prescriptions accurately and offering patient counseling to support optimal medication use.

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions with precision to ensure patient safety
• Provide clear and compassionate patient counseling on medication use and potential side effects
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmaceutical care
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and pharmacy policies

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, Day Shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Closed on weekends
• Special travel assignment from October 12 to October 16 in Harrisville, NY

Qualifications:

• Active and valid NY State Pharmacist license in good standing
• Solid experience as a staff pharmacist with prescription verification expertise
• Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Location:

• Primary location in Woodstock, NY with scheduled travel to Harrisville, NY from October 12-16
