CVS Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to support its Vaccination Initiative by administering a variety of immunizations in a retail healthcare setting. This is a patient-facing position responsible for delivering safe, high-quality care while educating patients and promoting community health.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, adaptable, and experienced in vaccine administration, with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.

• Administer vaccines including Influenza, COVID-19, MMR, and other routine immunizations.
\n
• Perform patient assessments prior to vaccine administration.
\n
• Educate patients on vaccine benefits, possible side effects, and post-vaccination care.
\n
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and immunization records.
\n
• Follow infection prevention and safety protocols (PPE provided).
\n
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacists, healthcare professionals, and store staff.
\n
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a patient-first approach.
\n
• Adapt to changing clinic schedules and patient volumes.
\n
• Support a positive, collaborative team environment.

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois (or compact/state authorization as applicable).
\n
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization/vaccination experience.
\n
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
\n
• Strong medication administration and clinical assessment skills.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Flexibility with work hours and assignments.
\n
• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED.
\n
• Must not appear on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
\n

• Previous experience in retail clinics, public health, or community vaccination programs.
\n
• Experience administering vaccines to pediatric and adult populations.
