Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Gastroenterology Clinic position in Colorado, requiring a minimum of 2 years of GI nursing experience and an active CO or Compact RN license.

Details\n

• Outpatient clinic setting specializing in pancreatobiliary and complex gastroenterology care
\n
• Patient population includes those with conditions affecting the pancreas, swallowing, stents, liver, reflux, and other complex digestive health needs
\n
• Schedule is five 8-hour day shifts per week, Monday through Friday
\n
• No call and no weekend requirements
\n
• 13-week contract
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active CO or Compact RN license, currently in good standing
\n
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA), card in-hand prior to start
\n
• Minimum 2 years of GI RN experience required
\n
• Previous RN clinic or ambulatory care experience required
\n
• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved RN program
\n
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
\n
• Flu vaccine required — no exemptions
\n
• DOB or SSN required for consideration
\n

• Provides care within a specialized GI clinic serving a community-based patient population
\n
• CAPS background check through the state of Colorado is required and may take up to two weeks to obtain — candidates should apply promptly
\n
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
