Job Summary\n

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Laboratory, Histology Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities\n

\n
• Perform histological tasks including grossing, embedding, and microtomy with precision.
\n
• Conduct staining processes using both automated IHC and manual special stains.
\n
• Prepare cytology specimens effectively, including thin prep and cell block techniques.
\n
• Maintain compliance with hospital laboratory procedures and safety standards.
\n
• Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient diagnostic outcomes.
\n
• Adapt to flexible scheduling requirements including covering NOC or PM shifts.
\n

Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum of 2 years histology experience required; hospital experience preferred.
\n
• Associate's Degree in Science and ASCP-HT certification required.
\n
• Experience with charting systems, EPIC preferred.
\n
• Possession of valid CA state license preferred; willing to accept pending license.
\n
• Strong understanding of immunohistochemistry and related histology processes.
\n
• Proven ability to operate laboratory equipment including microtomes and processors.
\n
