American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with LTC or SNF experience for a 13-week travel contract at a Long Term Care facility in Oregon, MO.

  • Long Term Care (LTC) / Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting in Oregon, MO
  • \n
  • Day shift, 8 hours per day, 35 hours per week
  • \n
  • No weekend or on-call requirements
  • \n
  • 13-week contract
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Active Missouri PT license required; compact license accepted (license required if applicable)
  • \n
  • Minimum 1 year of PT experience required; new graduates with Level II clinical experience will be considered
  • \n
  • LTC or SNF setting experience required
  • \n
  • 1 professional reference required for consideration
  • \n
  • All certifications must be active at time of consideration
  • \n
Additional Information\n
    \n
  • Responsibilities include screening, evaluating, and rehabilitating patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care needs, and developing individualized plans of care
  • \n
  • Administers manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, ambulation training, assistive device use, and wound care as part of rehabilitation plans
  • \n
  • Assesses patient progress, adjusts treatment plans accordingly, and provides comprehensive discharge summaries per regulatory requirements
  • \n
  • Provides consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders
  • \n
  • Participates in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation team meetings
  • \n
  • May supervise physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students
  • \n
  • Accurately documents all treatment information and minutes in the electronic documentation system per regulatory and clinical requirements
  • \n
  • No more than 7 days of RTO may be requested for this position
  • \n
