American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist - Echocardiography with pediatric echo credentialing and independent pediatric echo scanning experience for a 13-week assignment.

- Works in the Cardiology Non-Invasive unit performing echocardiography \n
- Patient population includes inpatient, outpatient, and ICU pediatric cases \n
- 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, 36 hours per week \n
- Schedule spans Monday through Sunday with no block scheduling \n
- On-call required every weekend, including Saturday 8am-10pm, Sunday 8am-10pm, and Monday 5pm-5am \n
- Must be able to arrive on-site within 30 minutes of an on-call notification \n
- Must be confident scanning independently in critical care areas such as NICU and PICU \n
- Uses EPIC EMR \n
- \n
- ARDMS or CCI credential in pediatric echocardiography (RDCS-PE or RCS-PE) required \n
- AHA BLS certification required \n
- EKG recognition required \n
- Minimum of 3 years of independent pediatric echo scanning experience required \n
- Experience in fetal echocardiography preferred \n
- Strong knowledge of complex congenital heart disease, cardiac surgical repairs, and pediatric cardiac anatomy required \n
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years required \n
- Experience with pediatric patients and family-centered care required \n
- License required if applicable \n

- Perform independent pediatric echocardiography studies including scanning in critical care settings \n
- Provide family-centered care to pediatric patients and their families \n
- Reliable personal or rental transportation strongly recommended, as public transportation is not accessible in this area \n
- Accepts local candidates \n
- Local rate applies within 50 miles and radius rate applies between 50-100 miles, measured by direct line distance \n
