Travel Administrative Director (RN Leadership) – North Adams, MA

\n 📍 Facility: North Adams Regional Hospital – North Adams, MA

\n 📅 Contract: 13 Weeks (08/10/2026 – 11/08/2026)

\n 🌙 Shift: 12-Hour Nights

\n ⏰ Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

\n North Adams Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced Administrative Director (RN Leadership) for a 13-week travel assignment. This exempt leadership role is responsible for overseeing hospital operations during night shifts, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care across inpatient units, ancillary departments, and support services. The selected candidate may also provide coverage as the Shift Supervisor at Berkshire Medical Center (BMC) when needed.

\n Position Highlights:

\n 13-week travel assignment

\n 12-hour night shifts

\n 36 guaranteed hours per week

\n Exempt position (no overtime, holiday, call, or callback premiums)

\n No on-call requirement

\n Weekend and holiday coverage as needed

\n Opportunity to lead hospital-wide operations during off-shift hours

\n Responsibilities:

\n Oversee hospital operations during nights, weekends, and holidays

\n Provide leadership and operational support to inpatient, ancillary, and support departments

\n Serve as the senior administrative and clinical leader during assigned shifts

\n Respond to emergency, trauma, and critical care situations while making timely operational decisions

\n Promote patient safety, quality care, and operational efficiency

\n Support staffing operations and resolve employee or operational concerns

\n Mentor and support nursing staff while ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

\n Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain smooth hospital operations

\n Requirements:

\n Active Massachusetts RN License

\n BSN or higher required

\n Minimum 3 years of nursing leadership experience

\n Acute care leadership experience, including emergency, trauma, and critical care

\n Proven conflict resolution and team leadership skills

\n Working knowledge of hospital staffing systems preferred

\n Current AHA BLS & ACLS certifications

\n Ongoing professional development and continuing education

\n Reliable personal transportation required

\n Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates are not eligible)

\n
