Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract, with 10-hour day shifts Monday through Friday and Epic EMR experience.

• Hospital operating room setting
\n
• 10-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
\n
• 40 hours per week
\n
• Epic EMR used
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active OR RN license required (in the state where care is provided)
\n
• Active BLS certification required — no pending certifications accepted
\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR RN experience within the last 3 years (full-time equivalent)
\n
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
\n
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
\n
• CNOR and ACLS preferred
\n
• 3–5 years of OR circulating and scrubbing experience preferred
\n
• BSN or related field preferred
\n
• Pre-op area skills preferred
\n
• IV start skills preferred
\n

• Local candidates are accepted and eligible for the same rate as traveling candidates
\n
• Candidates who have previously worked at this health system as a contingent worker may be subject to tenure restrictions — travelers cannot exceed two years of total assignment time without a 90-day break
