Role Description The Airport Business and Innovation Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Eugene, OR, responsible for advancing the business growth, innovation, and strategic development of the Eugene Airport. This position oversees commercial and aeronautical business development, including tenant relations, concessions, and new revenue opportunities, while ensuring alignment with city policies and regulatory requirements. The role includes analyzing market trends, preparing business cases, negotiating agreements, and managing partnerships to enhance airport services and financial performance. The manager collaborates with internal departments, airlines, tenants, and community stakeholders to support operational efficiency, customer experience, and long-term planning. Day-to-day activities involve data analysis, project management, budgeting support, and presenting recommendations to leadership and governing bodies.\n

• Experience in business development, commercial strategy, or aviation-related business management.

• Ability to interpret and apply regulations, contracts, and policies related to airports or public sector operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, aviation management, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are beneficial.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a public sector or multi-stakeholder environment, with sound judgment and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with airport operations, transportation systems, or municipal government processes is preferred.
