Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Critical Access Hospital in Great Barrington, MA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and active MA licensure.

• Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts
\n
• Work in a Family Birthplace unit within a Joint Commission-accredited Critical Access Hospital
\n
• Unit features private rooms, subdued lighting, infant warmers, and monitoring equipment, with dedicated OR suites for Cesarean births
\n
• Anesthesia and delivery services available around the clock
\n
• Collaborative care model with obstetricians, midwives, lactation consultants, and obstetrical nurses
\n
• Every other weekend required; holiday coverage required as needed
\n
• On-call requirements apply (details TBD)

Requirements\n

\n
• Active Massachusetts RN license required
\n
• Current AHA BLS certification required
\n
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
\n
• Current STABLE certification required
\n
• BSN required
\n
• Minimum 2 years of current L&D experience required
\n
• Postpartum (PP) and Mother-Baby (MB) experience required
\n
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required for this assignment
\n
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years of employment required for consideration
\n
• Current L&D, Postpartum, and Mother-Baby skills checklists (within the past year) required for consideration
\n

Additional Information\n

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
\n
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application — no more than 5 days of RTO will be approved, and requests made after offer or during interview will not be accepted
\n
• Provide individualized care to laboring patients and newborns, including postpartum and mother-baby support
\n
• Work alongside experienced obstetrical nurses and lactation consultants to support patient birthing preferences
\n
• Fairview Hospital is nationally recognized in the top 10% of hospitals for patient satisfaction and experience

• Facility holds designations as a Critical Access Hospital and Massachusetts DPH Primary Stroke Center
