American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for a Hematology/BMT Clinic position in Boston, MA, requiring active MA licensure and ONS/ONCC chemotherapy and immunotherapy certification.

- Outpatient clinic setting within a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Hematology/Oncology department \n
- Patient population includes hematology and oncologic malignancy patients requiring complex care coordination \n
- Heavy triage responsibilities, including responding to patient questions, medication renewals, FMLA paperwork, and PET scan authorizations \n
- 10-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM \n
- No weekends or holidays required \n
- Floating is not required \n
- 13-week contract, 40 hours per week \n

- Active Massachusetts (MA) RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration \n
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required \n
- ONS or ONCC chemotherapy and immunotherapy certification required \n
- Minimum 2 years of Hematology/Oncology (HemOnc) nursing experience required \n
- Candidates with 4–5 years of HemOnc experience may be considered without formal care coordination experience \n
- Strong hematology care and care coordination background preferred \n
- COVID vaccine with booster and flu vaccine required (medical exemptions accepted) \n
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible \n

- Responsibilities include patient triage, care coordination, authorization for PET scans, responding to patient inquiries, medication renewals, and handling administrative aspects of FMLA documentation \n
- Candidates who have previously worked at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility (travel, permanent, or per diem) must have been separated from the health system for at least one year to be considered \n
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration \n
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply \n
- Public transportation is available; parking in the area can be costly \n
