American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for a chemotherapy treatment nurse position in an ambulatory hematology/oncology setting, requiring active MA licensure and chemo certification.

- Ambulatory hematology/oncology unit (Hem/Onc Shapiro 9) within a hospital setting \n
- Provides chemotherapy infusion to adult oncology patients \n
- Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays \n
- 10-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM, 30 hrs/week \n
- 13-week assignment \n
- No floating required \n
- No charge nurse duties required \n

- Active MA RN license currently in hand \n
- Chemo certification required \n
- Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience required \n
- Chemotherapy administration experience required \n
- Ambulatory setting experience required \n
- Current flu vaccination required (medical exemptions accepted) \n
- COVID vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions accepted) \n
- BLS required \n

- Primary role involves administering chemotherapy and providing oncology care to adult patients in a treatment area \n
- Orientation is held weekly, every Monday (excluding holidays) \n
- Hiring manager interview required prior to offer \n
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration \n
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position \n
- Previous employees (travel, permanent, or per diem) of any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility must have a minimum one-year break before being considered — note: recruiter notes indicate a 6-month break policy system-wide, but the job description specifies one year for this position \n
