Schedule & Coverage

• 12-hour shifts, including day and night coverage

• One other emergency medicine provider present during shifts

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluation and treatment of pediatric and adult emergency patients
• Procedural duties within scope of practice
• Managing a mixed patient mix predominantly level 3 or 4, sometimes level 2
• Collaboration with nursing and radiology teams
• Documentation within electronic health records

Candidate Requirements

• Active Florida medical license
• DEA Registration
• Board Eligible or Certified in Emergency Medicine
• Case log documentation may be required (procedures)
