JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine (ABEM, ABIM, ABFM) – does not accept ABPS
• Licenses: Active Illinois medical license, Controlled Substance license, DEA with Illinois address
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS required
• Experience: CME within past 2 years, residency training required
• Other Qualifications: Hospital provider enrollment, references on hospital-specific forms

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical services to patients of all ages
• Perform emergency procedures including intubation, central line placement, and suturing
• Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers (APPs)
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital provider enrollment processes
