About New Day Recovery

At New Day Recovery, we believe recovery is possible for everyone. Located in Niles, we provide medical detoxification and residential treatment. Our dedicated team works together to create a safe, supportive, and healing environment where individuals can begin and sustain their recovery journey.


Position Summary

As a vital member of our medical team, you will play a critical role in supporting clients throughout their treatment and recovery journey.


Schedule: Part-time, (3) 12-hour shifts a week, competitive pay and shift differential 


Essential Functions

  • Provide direct nursing care to clients receiving substance use and behavioral health treatment.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.
  • Monitor and document client health status, withdrawal symptoms, and treatment progress.
  • Respond appropriately to medical concerns, emergencies, and changes in client condition.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, counselors, and support staff to coordinate care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
  • Support client education regarding medications, treatment plans, wellness, and recovery.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and recovery-focused treatment environment.


Qualifications

  • Current Ohio LPN license in good standing.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced or crisis situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to client-centered care and recovery principles.
  • Experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, detoxification, or residential healthcare preferred, but not required.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform CPR.
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities in a facility with multiple levels and without elevator or mechanical transportation.
